Why ViceFlow exists
Remote candidates rarely suffer from a shortage of lists. They suffer from repeated listings, unclear geography, weak source context and the feeling that every new board must be monitored. ViceFlow treats the board itself as part of a search workflow. The central question is not whether a platform contains jobs; it is what kind of discovery work it performs well and how much verification remains after it produces a lead.
The visual language comes from a field atlas because rankings are maps, not destinations. The Main Current marks ten strong general starting points. The Outer Current contains twenty products that may still become the right tool for a profession, region, community or independent-work model. Lower placement is not a claim of illegitimacy and must not be read as a prediction about every role.
What the index compares
The Flow Score is an editorial snapshot of remote specificity, moderation posture, geographic clarity, useful role density, freshness and application path, plus candidate friction in money and time. Public product information is checked against official platform materials. The score does not measure a representative placement rate because comparable, independently verified hiring outcomes are generally unavailable.
ViceFlow places more weight on candidate-side clarity than on total inventory. A smaller board can rank well when it serves a specific audience coherently. A huge marketplace can rank lower when remote work is only one noisy filter, even though it may contain more total opportunities.
Commercial and platform independence
ViceFlow is presented as an independent directory. Scores are not sold to platforms, and a company does not receive a higher position merely for having a large brand or advertising budget. External links should be treated as navigational references, not endorsements. If commercial relationships are introduced later, they should be labeled where a reader makes the decision.
What the index cannot prove
A board changes continuously, inventories vary by day, and a candidate’s profession and country can reverse the usefulness of a general ranking. ViceFlow does not audit every vacancy, verify anonymous social identities, guarantee employer behavior or provide legal, tax, financial or immigration advice. Candidates remain responsible for checking companies, contracts, eligibility and personal-data requests.
Public discussions on Reddit, Instagram and Facebook contribute recurring qualitative questions, such as billing clarity, search fit or regional coverage. They do not become success statistics. A social post may be incomplete, promotional, mistaken or impossible to authenticate, which is why qualitative themes stay subordinate to current product facts and direct verification.
Corrections make the map better
Products change. A board can alter pricing, screening, filters or positioning after an article is reviewed. ViceFlow welcomes specific corrections that include a public source or reproducible product path. Use the contact page and name the page, sentence and supporting link. Submissions are reviewed for accuracy; they do not guarantee a score change.
